Talk talk talk, words doesn't move mountains, faith put in action does!


Some years ago I heard a bit (tiny) dirty joke! Some weeks ago I heard it repeated in church told by my churchs next reverend(!) :-)

The story goes like this: "Once in a little village there was a priest! This priest so badly wanted to have kids, and spoke about it rather frequently in church and every other place he came to! But the years went by, and he and his wife didn't become parents. A guy in the village, he was truly productive, if the word can used. He was the father of a many children ( and then I mean in flesh, not just spiritually). The priest couldn't avoid to see that this man achieved what he had failed in for some years. One day he confronted him: " How do you manage to get so many children!" The guy from the village grined and started to laugh. " There is one thing I have to tell you, to make kids, it isn't enough just to talk about having kids, you do actually have to sleep with your wife:-)

Most people will read this and laugh, and reflect with themselves that this fact is obvious to anyone, even the priest! The fact is that everyone that believes in Christ, is " a royal priest, a holy people that is called to tell of God greatness (1.pet 2,9). We are all called to soulwinners, but often or more as the rule, not the exception, people talk about doing thing, talking about praying/witnessing/pursuing demons/etc instead of doing it. Don't hesitate one more moment, don't let the father of darkness and death trick you more. Trust the word of God, be filled with His Holy Spirit, and go out making people to disciples. It is said " Learning by doing!" Mercy is for the humble (James 4,6), and we are saved by mercy, only. So lets go out doing a lot of things wrong (not on purpose of course) and some things right! "None can win the entire world, but everyone can win someone!" John 16,33b:" ...but be bold, I (Jesus), has already defeated this world!

COME WITH ME AND LET'S FISH! THE OCEAN IS REPLETE!

Many think that Jesus is this worlds hope! That's not entirely right! We are the hope cos we've been given the mission.

Feelings verses faith

Smith Wiggelsworth once said: "I am not driven by my feelings. I am not driven by what I can see, but I let myself be driven only by what I believe! I can't know God through my feelings, I only learn to know God through what the Word tells me about Him. I know Lord Jesus Christ through what the Word tells me about Him. He is everything what the Word say that He is!

I've learned something, that is:

Feelings is the voice of the flesh (our body)!
Sanity(mind,reason) is the voice of the soul, or the mind!
The conscience is the voice of the spirit!

A lot of christians is lead by their feelings, and therefore their lives with God goes up and down, depending on the feelings they experience! Look at what the great faithapostel from England, Smith Wiggelswurth said, and learn to be lead in faith by your conscience, and the promises in the Bibel only.

All of grace

Charles Spurgeon once said this (passage from his book "All of grace"): " «When I was under the hand of the Holy Spirit, under conviction of sin, I had a clear and sharp sense of the justice of God. Sin, whatever it might be to other people, became to me an intolerable burden. It was not so much that I feared hell, but that I feared sin. I knew myself to be so horribly guilty that I remember feeling that if God did not punish me for sin He ought to do so. I felt that the Judge of all the earth ought to condemn such sin as mine. I sat on the judgment seat, and I condemned myself to perish; for I confessed that had I been God I could have done no other than send such a guilty creature as I was down to the lowest hell.»

Jesus Christ is awesome, full of love and grace since he took the punishment you and me should've had. Receive him and escape hell!
